Creating a Segment (Sending emails only to customers who purchased pre-order products)

What is a Segment?

You can access segments from Customer Management > Segments.

Shopify Admin > Segments
Segments allow you to filter customers based on their purchase history, and then send targeted emails or discounts to specific customer groups.

Filter results in segments: Extracting customers who have made at least one purchase

Since "CC Order Rule" does not have an email sending function, you will use an app that can be used from segments, such as Shopify Email, to send mass emails to customers who have purchased pre-order products.

How to Set Up


The following steps are involved:

  1. Create a metafield.
  2. Create a segment.
  3. Add the metafield to customers (Shopify Flow).

Create a metafield definition called "CC Order Rule | Pre-order | Customer Segments" and add the Selling Plan ID to the "CC Order Rule | Pre-order | Customer Segments" metafield of the purchased customer using Shopify Flow.
